This Analog Outfitters Sarge is a hand-wired amp head, built from re-purposed materials, and powered by a Hammond organ output transformer - one of the best transformers ever made. This has a heavy-duty, durable steel casing with a top-opening lid and handle, making it super portable - and it barely weighs 20 lb., so traveling with it is a cinch - and its faceplate is a vintage embossed Porsche sign.
With 15 watts of Class A power through 8 ohms, this is loaded with two EL84 power tubes, two 12AX7 preamp tubes, and a 5Y3 rectifier - all of which together make it a powerful head with plenty of headroom for clean tones, with the capability of achieving some serious overdrive, all while being incredibly pedal-friendly. Great for about any style or genre, the Analog Outfitters Sarge can replicate the classic tones of Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and a number of others with ease.
